Daniel Kirk

Biography :

I am a PhD student at the Department of Twin Research and Genetic Epidemiology, King’s College London. My work investigates multi-omic alterations in irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) using TwinsUK data. I have a first-class Biochemistry degree from Nottingham Trent University and a master’s degree (cum laude) in Nutirtion and Health from Wageningen University (Netherlands). I have published papers in machine learning, precision nutrition, gut microbiome and IBS. I also speak six languages, including Chinese (Mandarin), Spanish, Italian, Dutch and German
