Biography :
Bao Qi is a Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Pharmacy at the National University of Malaysia. Her research focuses on the gut microbiota-immune axis in allergic asthma. Using a fecal-transplanted OVA mouse model, she integrates 16S rRNA microbiome sequencing, metabolomics, intestinal histopathology, and immunological assays to investigate how the gut microbiota and its metabolites regulate the host immune response. She holds a Master of Medicine degree from China and has extensive professional experience in clinical practice and human clinical trials for innovative drug development
