Biography :
Prof. M. Moshahid Alam Rizvi is a leading molecular oncologist and academician at Jamia Millia Islamia, New Delhi, currently serving as a Dean of the Centre for Distance and Online Education. With over two decades of research in cancer biology, his work focuses on molecular genetics, tumor suppressor pathways, and innovative low-toxicity therapeutic strategies. He has authored around 300 international publications with ~9500 citations (H-index 52) and mentored 46 Ph.D. scholars. His research includes the identification of Parkin as a tumor suppressor and contributions to personalized cancer therapeutics, positioning his laboratory among prominent oncology research groups in India.
